Bro. Larry Reagan

Bro. Larry Reagan serves as the Headmaster of CCA.  He has a Bachelors & Masters Degree in Religious Education.  Bro. Larry has been pastoring for 35+ years, in WV, OH, & TN.  He is currently pastoring as a bi-vocational pastor at Moore's Chapel Baptist Church in Greenfield.  Over the years, he has served on both the Associational & State levels in a number of ways, some of which would include former 2ndVP of the TN Baptist Convention, State Executive Boards in both WV & OH, and has serves on many different Ministry Teams & Committees.  In addition to his Patoral related experience, Bro. Larry also started a Christian school in WV in the 1980's, and often taught & worked in the Christian School that his daughters attended while living in WV.  He has a true heart for Christian Education and is happy to serve at CCA!

Mrs. Deanna Robertson
Mrs. Deanna is beginning her second year at CCA as one of our Pre-K/ K4 teachers.  She attended UTM, and and this is her 3rd year to teach.  She previously taught 3 & 4 year olds at the FUMC's Kid's Day Out Program here in Martin.  She has always loved working with children and seeing their excitement as they learn something new.  She believes that children are a blessing from the Lord and she is so thankful to get the opportunity to teach them about the love of Jesus along with their academics.  She enjoys hands on learning with lots of crafts & visuals to make learning fun.  Mrs. Deanna and her husband, Steven have been married for 12 years and they have a 6 year old daughter, named Eliana.  They live in Sharon, and attend Grace Community Church in Martin.  They are active in their church and Mrs. Deanna serves in the nursery and her husband leads music.  In her free time, she enjoys painting and DIY projects, crafts & scrapbooking.

Mrs. Samantha Brewer

Mrs. Samantha joins our staff this year and will be teaching one of our K4/Pre-K classrooms.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-6 from UTM, with endorsements in both PreK & Middle School.  She has been working in the Weakley County School system for the past 4 years as the PreK assistant teacher in Sharon.  She and her husband, Chad, have been married for almost 6 years, and have 2 children: Owen (4) & Katherine (2).  They live here in Martin and are members of First Baptist Martin.  They are both very active in the ministries of their church.  Samantha leads the PreK & Kindergarten Children’s Choir, teaches Sunday School, works in AWANA, coordinates & directs the Preschool/PreK age groups in VBS, works in the nursery, Ladies’ Bible Studies & helps out with the church tech team.  She loves working with children and is very creative & organized.  She enjoys utilizing different kinds of mediums & ways in the classroom to ensure that her students have fun & gain the knowledge needed for academic success.  She is excited for the opportunity to teach at CCA, and looks forward to a great year!

Mrs. Debbie Barner

We are so excited to have Mrs. Debbie Barner beginning her second year at CCA!   Parents all over Martin have known and loved her throughout the years!  She is well respected by colleagues and  parents alike. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a M.S. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Reading, both from UTM.  She has been recognized as Teacher of the Year in Weakley County, as well as NW TN.
Having over 30 years of teaching experience within the Weakley County School System, Mrs. Debbie retired from her career as a public-school teacher at the end of the 2016/2017 school year and began her next step, teaching here at CCA.  We are so excited to have her with us!
She has always felt that God has called her to teach Kindergarten students, and she loves getting the opportunity to do what she loves in a Christian environment, and from a Christ-based curriculum. 
We have all been blessed by her experience & passion in doing what God has equipped her to do.

Mrs. Michelle Gallien
1st  grade

Mrs. Michelle is preparing for her 5th year of teaching at CCA.  She has a Bachelors degree in Communications/Public Relations and a Masters Degree in Education Administration from UTM and an Educational Specialist degree from Union.  She is licensed to teach PreK-4th grade.  She has been teaching for 8 years.  Prior to her time at CCA, she taught PreK and 2nd grade at Milan Elementary.  At CCA, she has previously taught K4/K5, and 1st & 2nd grade.  She believes God called her to teach.  She strives to create an environment that yields a positive learning experience for every child & encourages a deeper love for God, & a desire to maintain Godly behavior.  She enjoys sharing her faith with her students and watching them grow.  She considers her position as a teacher at CCA as a ministry first, and a job, second. 
Michelle & her husband, Tommy have 4 children.  Alex (25) got married last year,   Ethan (17), Anna Claire (12), and Selah Grace (6).  Her family attends The Shepherd's Field church here in Martin.  In her free time, she enjoys camping, shopping, & reading.

Mrs. Amanda Jimerson

2nd  grade


Mrs. Amanda is gearing up for her 3rd year at CCA.  She has been teaching for 6 years.  She taught in Union City and Margaret Newton Elementary (1st & 6th grades) for a few years before taking a break from her career to be a stay at home mom.  After several years of raising her children, she felt called back to the classroom.  Mrs. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science degree from MTSU in Speech & Theatre & a minor in English/Secondary Ed.  She is certified to teach grades K-8, & Theatre to grades K-12.  She loves children & learning new things. Mrs. Amanda is grateful for the opportunity to share about God's love and truth. She knows what her students learn will have a lasting impact on their lives.  She enjoys mixing different learning styles to keep her classroom interesting & fun.  Teaching allows her the chance to use her creativitity and impact young lives. 
Mrs. Amanda, her husband, Chad, & children, Isabella (10) & Zack (6) and 3 cats (Romeo, Juliet & Charlie) live in Martin.   They are members of Crosswinds Church in Union City. Mrs. Amanda serves on the church's creative arts team.  She hopes to pass on her love of learning to her students so that they not only will learn to live for Christ but will also come to understand their own value & the awe & wonder that they bring to the world.

Miss Taylor Allen
3rd  grade

 Miss Taylor is excited to begin her teaching career here at CCA.  She graduated in May from UT-Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Education, majoring in Integrated Studies.  She is licensed to teach K-5th grade.  Taylor is a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Union City.  She has been very active in her church family over the years.  She served as a summer missionary intern there at the church, directed/led & taught in VBS, coached in Calvary’s Upward Basketball program, and worked in children’s Journey camps at Camp Linden just to name a few…  In addition to her ministry related areas of service, Taylor also worked in the After-school program at Ridgemont Elementary in Union City during college, and as a cashier at the Union City Walmart.
Miss Taylor did very well in her student teaching placements.  Some strengths that were evident during that time were her abilities to create unique, interactive, & effective lessons for her students.   She has a heart for students and serving the Lord.  We are excited to welcome her energy, creativity, and positive attitude to our staff!  We are looking forward to seeing how God uses her to bless her students and our school.

Mrs. Meagan Carden

4th  grade
Mrs. Meagan is preparing for her 2nd year with us at CCA.   She graduated from Bryan College with a K-8 degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Bible.  She also carries a Reading Endoresement.  She comes to us with 11 year of teaching experience.  She was previously employed at Laurel Mill Elementary in NC & Loganville Christian Academy in GA.  After moving to Weakley County, she worked as a substitute teacher in the Weakley County School System and here at CCA, while she raised her young children.  So she was already a familiar face to our students, and we've loved getting to know her over the past couple years!
Mrs. Meagan and her husband Josh have been married for 13 years.  They have two children, Ethan (7) & Nate (4). They are members of Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield.  She serves alongside her husband, who is the Youth Minister, and also works in her church's AWANA, Children's Church, & Nursery programs.  She believes God has called her to share the love of Christ with children, both at church and in the school.  She aims to encourage students to have a life long love of learning!  It is her goal to model God's love to her students by being loving, supportive and compassionate to the needs of each and every student, so that they can reach their fullest potential.    In her free time, Mrs. Meagan enjoys reading, cooking & a good puzzle!

Miss Summer Frields

 5th grade

Miss Summer graduated from UTM with a Bachelor in Science degree in Family & Consumer Science holding an emphasis in Child & Family Studies.   She will graduate with a Masters in Elementary Education at the end of this summer from Union University and is licensed to teach K-5th grade.  She has 2 years of formal teaching experience from Obion County Schools where she taught 5th grade and worked within the Special Education program at South Fulton Elementary.   During college, she worked within their after-school program, and continued doing so on a part-time basis after she was hired to teach full time.  Miss Summer grew up in South Fulton Baptist Church, where she is a member.  She is active and faithful within her church family, having served in a range of ministries over the years, including nursery, VBS, leading Bible studies, working in the Upwards Sports ministry, community service projects, and working with the Youth.  She has a love for children which is evident in both her personal and professional life.  She is excited to join our staff this year and looks forward to this opportunity to teach both academic and biblical truths to her students.  She desires to do whatever it takes to enable her students to be successful in their learning journey and is excited to be able to add biblical truths that will encourage her students to be strong in their faith and help them develop a deep understanding of the Bible as a way to learn God’s plan for their lives.   In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking, and spending time with her family & friends.  We are excited to welcome her to our CCA family!

Mrs. Meg Miller
 6th & 7th grade

Mrs. Meg Miller has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from UTM, graduating with an emphasis in Elementary Education, K-8.  She comes to us with 10 years of teaching experience, all from Union City Middle School, where she taught Science, English/Language Arts, and was the Math Interventionist in grades 6-8.  She very much enjoyed teaching there in UC, but after the birth of her 3rd child, opportunities allowed her to take a break from the classroom and be a SAHM.  She and her husband, John, have been married for 12 years and live here in Martin with their 4 daughters:  Abby (11), Avery (9), Ally (3), and Ashley (baby).  They attend Grace Community Church in Martin and are actively involved in the ministries there.  We’ve enjoyed getting to know this family during the last school year, when they enrolled their two oldest daughters in CCA.   Through this experience, Meg began to feel God leading her back to the classroom.  She is very excited to jump back into teaching, and to be able to do so in a Christ-centered environment.  Some of her teaching strengths include having a great love and desire for her students to excel.  She is also great at building a good rapport with her students, which facilitates a love for learning and helps them reach their potential.   We are very excited to welcome Meg to our staff, and we look forward to how she will bless her students and our school.   In her free time, she enjoys sports, spending time crafting, drawing and spending time with her family & friends.
