7-11th Grade Science

Dustin Crowell

7th-11th Grade Science Teacher

From an early age Dustin loved all things nature, growing up in rural west Tennessee. He spent countless hours in the Obion River bottoms or on Reelfoot Lake with his father or exploring the pond in his backyard.

He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Natural Resources Management concentrating on Wildlife Biology.

He began summer work at Reelfoot Lake State Park in 2008 as a seasonal ranger, teaching visitors about the natural aspects of the lake. After stints at Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park and Fall Creek Falls State Park, he became a park ranger at Radnor Lake State Natural Area in June 2013 and transferred to Natchez Trace State Park in 2017.

Dustin was called by the Lord to teach at CCA in 2020 as a science teacher for middle school and high school while taking courses at UTM for a Master of Science in Education.   This is his third year at CCA.
